A warm sunny Saturday in Amsterdam and everyone’s out and about. Except that is in Prinseneiland which remains peaceful and picturesque. This has to be my favourite part of Amsterdam. Everything you want, except and expect from this city except for the crowds. What I wasn’t expecting to see was a petting zoo and a yellow submarine. About a year ago, there were many reports that the vessel would be removed as a result of Waternet’s court order. However, it’s great to see that it’s still here, brightening up the neighbourhood! The diversity, creativity and quirkiness of this city continue to amaze me!
